Pruning Basics

Fall & Winter Pruning Workshop

Learn all about pruning best practices and techniques for the upcoming seasons! Pruning in the Winter months before plants are actively growing is essential for plant health—it allows for the removal of old, tired growth, creating space for the plant to reinvigorate itself come Spring. Ultimately, Winter pruning encourages growth, whereas Summer pruning is useful for controlling or limiting growth.
