The goal of this project was to remodel and update the home’s front entry and deck for some fresh curb appeal. The facelift provided an extended living space and a stunning, functional, and low maintenance entrance.

The front yard renovation included crane removal of a traditional narrow cedar deck along with a 10 by 12-foot rhododendron hedge to save and reuse elsewhere. The hedge had previously shielded the front of the home, causing aging to the exterior of the house. The design and landscape construction consists of a new architectural slab surfaced deck with multiple landings, integrated steps, and a custom railing, plus a sand-surfaced concrete walkway sweeping to the new entry. Boulder accents and a split rock wall levels the perimeter gravel path. New plantings and low voltage lighting complement the new construction.
