2024: Peninsula Elementary School

During Spring 2024, one of our Commercial Construction teams installed a beautiful new garden in the Peninsula Elementary courtyard in NE Portland. The space is for students and teachers to use for quiet reflection, relaxation, and mental health.

The school felt that what they needed most was a place where someone could sit and be surrounded by the healing power of plants. We reused existing granite pavers, made use of half-hewn logs for seating, and filled the space with flowering plants and calming grasses. We love giving back to our community and finding creative ways to build inspiring green spaces!
