How would you describe your landscape design process? By understanding the client’s interests and budget, we can create a design that aligns with their vision without overcomplicating or underwhelming. From there, we collaborate to develop a plan that delivers the best possible outcome.
Are there certain styles or aesthetics that inspire your work? I start by considering the site’s structure—hardscapes and existing features. I don’t follow a single style but lean toward organized, intentional designs that prioritize function first, then aesthetics.
Which landscape elements do you most enjoy using in your designs? I embrace a range of features, with function guiding every design choice. But if I had to choose, I enjoy bubbler water features for their versatility and creative lighting to enhance the space.
Are there plants you’re particularly drawn to? I like a balance of evergreens and perennials to ensure year-round interest. I also love selecting plants for their texture, color, and movement, which add depth and life to the landscape.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy coaching youth baseball, watching my kids in their sports, outdoor adventures, and spending time with family.
